Day 1: Arrival Nairobi, Transfer Hemingways

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and assisted to transfer to Hemingways Nairobi. Overlooking the Ngong Hills in Nairobi’s tranquil and upscale neighbourhood of Karen, this luxurious boutique hotel is a haven of elegant charm. Days 2-4: Transfer Chyulu Hills

You will be driven to Wilson Airport, where you will board a flight to Tsavo West Airstrip. On arrival, you will be met by our driver guide who will drive you to Ol Donyo Wuas Lodge.

Tucked between the Tsavo West and Amboseli National Parks, the striking and diverse landscapes of Chyulu Hills are a must-see. The park has ancient volcanic cinder cones and craters, with the most recent volcanic peak forming just 500 years ago. It is also home to the longest lava tube in the world. Visitors will delight in breathtaking vistas of Mt Kilimanjaro and the wonderful selection of game, including buffalo, antelope, elephant, leopard, wildebeest and zebra. The birdwatcher’s paradise of Lake Jipe is found in the south-western corner of the reserve.

ol Donyo Lodge is located on over 111,000 hectares of private land in the heart of the Chyulu Hills, between Kenya’s Tsavo and Amboseli National Parks. The property, honed from the ancient lava rock spewed out of Kilimanjaro 360,000 years ago, creates a timelessness that touches everyone visiting us. Days 5-7: Transfer Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Accommodation: Mara Plains Camp
Depart on your scheduled charter flight, flying via Nairobi, to your next camp within the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The Maasai Mara is undoubtedly the finest wildlife area in Kenya. All of the big game is here: elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah and buffalo. Commonly seen species include zebra, wildebeest, Thomson’s gazelle, Defassa waterbuck, eland and Maasai giraffe. This is the only place in Kenya where topi are common. Activities include morning and afternoon game drives. An optional balloon safari may be taken. (As the sun rises over the plains of Africa you will have a bird’s eye view of the world below and the chance to see game from a completely different perspective – an unparalleled adventure into one of the most iconic wildlife destinations on the planet, where the battle for survival plays out in front of you each and every day.

Day 8: Depart, Transfer Wilson, Nairobi

Optional: Meals/Dayroom
5am coffee, early morning game drive. Breakfast. You will thereafter be transferred to the airstrip for your maiden flight to Wilson airport Nairobi. Marking the end of another memorable tour. Lunch will be on own arrangements, therafter transfer to JKIA for your onward flight.
