4 DAY LAKE NAKURU & MASAI MASA LUXURY SAFARI BY ROAD
Day 1: Nairobi/Lake Nakuru drive for 3 hours On arrival at the airport at 600 a.m., you will be met and greeted by our driver guide, drive to Lake Nakuru, and arrive early at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. Check in your room with freshen up, followed by lunch, then followed by an afternoon game drive from 4:20 p.m. to 600 p.m.
The sunset game drive at Lake Nakuru will offer you a great opportunity for great photos of flamingoes and pelican birds and Lake Nakuru with the beauty of the landscape of Lake Nakuru. The game drive will continue in search of other animals up to 630 p.m., then return to Lake Nakuru Lodge for dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.
Day 02: Lake Nakuru/Lake Masai Mara
Early morning game From 600 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., the early morning game driver offers a great game drive, and Lake Nakuru is known all over the world for its pink flamingos and rhinos. At times, there may be flamingos gathering along the lake’s shore.
Besides the flamingo, there are roughly 400 other species of birds visiting the lake, as well as many species of wildlife. At 8:00am, return to the lodge for a major breakfast, and after breakfast, follow by departing for Masai Mara. You will leave for Masai Mara with an optional stopover at Lake Naivasha for a boat ride.
LAKE NAIVASHA BOAT RIDE
Lake Naivasha boat rides offer an amazing experience getting close to hippos, as well as the famous fish eagle and other species of birds at Lake Naivasha. After the boat ride, you will proceed to Masai Mara and arrive in time for lunch at Ashnil Luxury Camp or Fig Tree Luxury Camp. Afternoon game drive: Masai Mara National Reserve This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti Plains, famously known for its spectacular Great Wildebeest’s migration, and is home to the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, and Rhino.
On arrival, you will enjoy an introductory evening game drive. DAY 03: DISCOVER MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE FULL DAY GAME DRIVE
Full-day game drives with packed lunch from 7 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This game drive will be in search of great predators and perhaps even cubs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals, plus the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst Acacia boughs. The river is the gateway to the annual migration of wildebeest from Serengeti to Maasai Mara. The endless plains of East Africa are the setting of the world’s greatest spectacle—the pounding of over 6 million hooves!
From the vast Serengeti plains to the Champagne-colored hills of Kenya’s Masai Mara Over 1 million wildebeest, 300,000 Thompson gazelles, and some 200,000 zebras relentlessly tracked by Africa’s greatest predators migrate in a clockwise fashion over 1,800 miles each year in search of green pastures. This continual perilous trek in search of nature’s big green carpet involves no beginning or end to a wildebeest journey. Its life is an endless pilgrimage, a continual search for food, water, and pasture. The only beginning is at birth. An estimated 400,000 wildebeest calves are born during a six-week period early each year, usually between late January and mid-March. As for when to see this annual event, consider July to August as the best time to witness crossing the Mara River.
The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopards, many kinds of antelopes, and elephants. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event in the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna: lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena, and vultures overnight at Ashnil Camp LUXURY or Sarova Mara Camp.

DAY:04: Masai Mara/Nairobi (5 hours)
Morning, after breakfast, you will go for the Masai Village Cutural Tour for 1 hour, then at 830am drive back to Nairobi and arrive in Nairob at 2pm. At the end of the safari, drop-off at Wilson Airport ends the safari.
