Day 1: Arrival JRO, Transfer Arusha Coffee Lodge
Arusha Coffee Lodge – Dinner
Upon arrival at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and assisted transfer to Arusha Coffee Lodge. The aptly named Arusha Coffee Lodge lies hidden amongst the sprawling grounds of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantation, set below the rugged peaks of Mt Meru. Guests can unwind in one of the lodge’s exclusive Plantation Suites, which each boast a romantic four-poster bed draped in Egyptian cotton linen, a split-level sitting area, ensuite bathroom, an open fireplace, a personal bar and a private veranda that looks out onto rows and rows of berry-laden coffee bushes.
Guests can enjoy scrumptious meals in the Coffee Lodge lounge or sip on their favourite drinks in the bar area. A boutique store, swimming pool and garden terrace add to guest delight. Other adventures include a tour of the Shanga social enterprise as well as visits to the Museum of Natural History, the Maasai market on Faya Road and the Tanzanite Experience. A game drive in Arusha National Park, accompanied by a delicious picnic lunch, makes for a wonderful outing.

Days 2-4: Transfer Ngorongoro Crater
Accommodation: Ngorongoro Crater Lodge – Fullboard
Today you will depart with your guide and private vehicle, take a game drive through Manyara Park and up the escarpment towards the misty Crater highlands. Enjoy the productive farming area you drive through and stop at a local vegetable farm if you would like to on route to the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge Discover breath-taking wildlife on the spectacular Crater floor game drive, the game viewing on the Crater floor is sensational, as this unique eco system supports an abundance of game – look out for the Big Five!
Enjoy a game drive in Lake Manyara en-route. Lake Manyara National Park is most famed for its tree climbing lions that may be seen (if you are very lucky) sleeping amongst the branches of acacia trees. The park is situated in the Great Rift Valley where hippos abound along with the excellent bird life as well as elephant and baboon. Next morning depart early with a packed breakfast to the Crater Rim and descend for a morning of viewing on the crater floor. Break for lunch back and the lodge and then enjoy a further crater tour in the afternoon.
Your 3 days stay will be at the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge – Ngorongoro Crater Lodge has been called the game lodge at the top of the world. Between the natural riches of the Crater spread out at its feet and the incredible architecture, it’s easy to believe that you have entered a realm of pure fantasy. Divided into three camps, 30 suites with banana leaf ceilings and grass roofs provide an intimate and exclusive experience. Each camp has its own sitting and dining areas, with private butlers who provide warm, personal service. With ever-changing views as mists swirl over the huge wildlife cauldron below, the location is truly breathtaking. Guests can be forgiven for losing track of which era, or even continent, they are experiencing at this lodge. Everything is chosen to delight the imagination and enhance the spectacular views of the magnificent surroundings.

Days 5-9: Transfer Serengeti National Park
Accommodation: Namiri Plains
This morning you will be transfer to Lake Manyara airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to the Serengeti. On arrival you will be met by your guide and continue to Namiri Plains. Enjoy three days of game viewing based from this camp. Optional balloon safari is available. Namiri Plains is in Tanzania’s eastern Serengeti. This remote camp is also a conservation initiative, protecting an area crucial to cheetah and other big cats. Set on the sprawling plains in the eastern Serengeti, Namiri Plains enjoys a remote location. With 10 stylish tented suites and one family tent, your stay here is a luxurious one of indoor/outdoor living.
Namiri Plains is positioned along the Ngare Nanyuki River in the eastern Serengeti. The vast grassland plains are mostly open, aside from the occasional acacia tree. As it’s one of the few locations in the eastern Serengeti with permanent underground water sources, game viewing is excellent. The seasonal riverbed is where plains game, such as zebras or reedbuck, come to quench their thirst, making it an ideal spot for viewings. It’s no surprise that predators have cottoned on to this, too. Keep an eye out for lions lurking nearby, ready to ambush their next meal.

Days 10-13: Transfer Maasai mara Game Reserve
Accommodation: Rekero Camp
This morning you will transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to the Maasai Mara. Upon arrival you will be met by your guide and driven to Rekero camp with game drive enroute. Witness the greatest wildlife concentration and diversity in the world in the heart of the Masai Mara in Kenya. The camp overlooks the Talek River migration crossing point. Guests can watch the herd make this perilous crossing without even leaving the camp. Enjoy this and other wildlife sightings from the comfort of your riverside tent or from one of the two communal decks.
Nine classic, spacious safari tents are set among the trees overlooking the Talek River. Each tent has an en suite bathroom with a flushing toilet and hot-water shower. Chill out on a daybed on your private veranda for a midday snooze or to watch zebras ambling along the riverbank. The Masai Mara is in southwest Kenya, on the border with Tanzania. It is one of the most popular safari destinations in Africa — and for good reason Every year, from July until October, around 1.5 million wildebeest cross the crocodile-filled Mara and Talek rivers as they follow the rains in and out of Kenya. One of their Talek crossing points is just 150 metres from Rekero’s dining area, and the Mara River is only a short drive from camp.

Day 14: Depart, Transfer Wilson, Nairobi

Morning game drive. Afternoon scheduled charter flight (3:00pm) from the Mara to Nairobi leaving behind the rolling plains of Maasai Mara. On arrival you transfer to the International airport for your onward flight.
