Day 1: Arrival Nairobi, JKIA

Transfer, Giraffe Manor – Dinner
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and assisted to transfer to Giraffe manor, Nairobi. An intimate hotel situated on the outskirts of the vibrant capital of Nairobi. urrounded by 12 acres of private land, within 140 acres of indigenous forest, the iconic Giraffe Manor is famous for its resident herd of Rothschild giraffe that casually wander around the spectacular grounds. Stay in the original manor house offering six rooms: Betty, Daisy, Jock, Lynn, Marlon and the Karen Blixen Suite or the Garden Manor also offering six rooms: Salma, Edd, Arlene, Helen, Kelly and the Finch Hatton Suite. Each room enjoys views over the sanctuary and the giraffe experience offered to guests is the same regardless of which area of the house they are staying in.

Days 2-3: Transfer Wilson, Fly Tsavo West

Accommodation: Finch Hattons Camp – Fullboard
Breakfast and transfer to the Wilson airport for your scheduled flight to Tsavo West, the stage for the “Out Of Africa” movie (must watch prior). Get blown away by the camp and its service. Enjoy Tsavo, the huge national park with the last remaining tuskers! All meals and overnight at the luxurious Finch Hattons Camp. Tsavo West National Park is Kenya’s oldest and largest national park, covering nearly 22,000 square kilometres of boundless space, varied terrain, and unrivalled biodiversity. The protected land is home to Africa’s Big 5 and more, including over 12 000 elephants that roam the Tsavo plains. Days 4-6: Fly Laikipia Conservancy

Accommodation: Loisaba Tented Camp
Breakfast at the camp and then transfer to the airstrip for flight to the world famous Laikipia. Met and transferred to your Loisaba Tented Camp. Loisaba Tented Camp is a luxury camp offering abundant wildlife and sweeping views. Perched on the edge of an escarpment, Loisaba Tented Camp is designed to take advantage of unhindered views across the Laikipia Plateau’s breath-taking landscape, all the way to the peaks of Mount Kenya. The theme of the camp is one of African elegance and style, enhanced by an expansive panorama, which can be enjoyed from the large open dining area, the relaxing sitting area and bar, the tranquil wooden deck, and one of Africa’s most picturesque infinity pools.

Laikipia is a private conservancy, so you can drive off the trails. There will be nobody else in the vehicle, which means that you can spend as much time at specific scenes and capture wildlife from a complete variety of angles. Big cat sightings are common with lions, leopards, and cheetahs being regularly spotted. Adventures include twice-daily game drives, guided walks, Ngare Ndare forest excursions, horseback safaris and camel rides, as well as enchanting cultural tours.

Days 7-9: Fly Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Accommodation: Cottars 1920’s Safari Camp
After breakfast, you will transfer to a local airstrip, where you will catch a flight to Olderkesi conservancy in Maasai mara Game Reserve. You will be met and transferred to Cottars 1920’s Safari Camp. Located on the Olderkesi Conservancy, bordering the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve, Cottar’s 1920’s Safari Camp and Bush Villa capture the romantic spirit of safari from a bygone era. The camp’s 11 spacious tents are sumptuously furnished with safari antiques, four-poster beds, dressing rooms, ensuite bathrooms, outdoor verandahs and the diligent attention of private butlers. Also set within the camp is the Cottar’s Bush Villa, the only private luxury home in the Maasai Mara. Rented only on an exclusive basis, the Bush Villa comes with a dedicated staff of eight, a large living room, a dining room, a magnificent viewing deck, five ensuite bedrooms, a private swimming pool and a dedicated game drive vehicle and guide.

Adhering to the highest standards of guiding, Cottars offers one-of-a-kind day and night game drives, bush walks, swimming and fishing. After an unforgettable day of exploring the plains of the great annual wildebeest migration, catching sight of the Big Five, and respectfully interacting with the local Maasai community, guests can look forward to delectable fine dining, relaxing in the reading room, cooling down in the sparkling pool with a sundowner or indulging in a pampering spa treatment.

Day 10: Depart, Fly Nairobi

Early morning breakfast, you will thereafter be transferred to the airstrip for your maiden flight to Wilson airport Nairobi. Marking the end of another memorable tour. Lunch will be on own arrangements. An optional dayroom can be arranged depending on your desires and also your flight time. Therafter transfer to JKIA for your onward flight.
